It was a nice crowd of friendly "lov'n-the-spring" backpack earthy kinda crowd.
Mark Legere, Carlos, Steve Bacchus, Bob & John, Markus, Tom Chase & Mark, Jon & Mike made it up for the night.
It was a gorgeous sun-shiny 60 degree spring day on Saturday.
...most of us high-tailed it to the Cardigan summit for views into Vermont and the Franconia Ridgeline.
Back at the cabin; after appetizers, margaritas, chili, chicken fajitas, more margaritas and then cheesecake we watched the moon rise above the valley below.
The idea seems good at the time but it can be a mistake as this added half a mile of boring flats in the woods slogging thru slushy snow back to the car -- will we ever learn? lol
The next day we took a side-trail for added variety back to the car. There's something about side-trails when you come to them.
After unloading at the cabin...
We had planned to go-on-high for moon views but maybe it was the margaritas kicking in which caused a sudden loss of motivation for we never left that porch and the comfy confines of our wood-stove warm rustic interior.
